You may have noticed this month’s specials are heavy on potatoes.
In an on-going effort to support the local farming community, we are proudly sourcing through Sassafrass Creek Farm. I was introduced to Sassafras Creek Farm through a friend at the annual Future Harvest CASA conference in College Park, MD. The owner, David Paulk had over 1500 pounds of potatoes at the end of this harvest that were in danger of going to waste. We are excited to take this opportunity to help a local vendor and supply our customers with certified organic sweet potatoes for this month’s menu!
