Happy 2018 to everyone! We hope the new year brings you all lots of moments filled with happiness and laughter.
The excitement of ringing in the new year always brings with it moments of reflection for us. We’re so proud of all that we’ve been able to accomplish over the last year, and we greatly look forward to another year of serving clients with delicious, green-minded catering.
This past year had a few big highlights for us. We were able to update our software system to enable us to more quickly and efficiently process client requests as they come in. We’ve also updated our full-service proposal format so that it better addresses all client needs and gives a better representation of our range of full-service event capabilities.
We’ve continued to grow in our partnerships with area farmers, helping us to support fresh, locally sourced produce at places like Blades Orchard, One Acre Farm, Groff’s Content Farm and Sassafras Creek Farm. Through these partnerships, we’ve also been able to provide our clients with information on CSA opportunities and additional sustainable catered meal options.
In 2018, we see great things on the horizon. We have expanded our team and will now be able to offer a menu developer who will work directly with the chef to bring more innovating, exciting and creative dishes to the table. We also have plans to promote seasonally-inspired cocktail menus on our website quarterly for full-service event inspiration. The cocktails can be used at the bars we provide during each quarter. Finally, we will be adding an FAQ page to our website to provide you with fast, easy answers to the questions we hear most often.
As always, we are working to serve you with truly unique and special food for every occasion, and we’re grateful to 2018 for another year full of opportunities to do so!
