Geppetto Catering, Inc. Washington's Choice for Corporate Catering

Spring 2012

Josh Carin, Geppetto Catering, Inc.
  • The birds are chirping, cherry blossoms are blooming on the tidal basin, and the cool air is turning warm. What does all of this mean? Spring is here! So break out those grills and let's start to enjoy the outdoors. Now if you prefer others to grill for you, visit the BBQ page of our web site and let us handle all of the details. You can visit us at one of the many local farmer's markets we participate in or contact us about handling all of the details for your upcoming picnic.
  • I have also included the recipe for our signature Carolina slaw that was featured in the food section of The Washington Post. It is a real crowd pleaser and as a bonus it is on the healthier side as it is vinegar based! Let me know if you love this recipe as much as I do.
  • One of the benefits of this season is we get to break out all of our spring clothes. I have included some etiquette tips on what does business casual really mean. I would not want you to show up at an upcoming business event in flip-flops!
  • Finally, with spring comes the beginning of the graduation season. I thought I would introduce you to Companies for Causes in our giving back section. Eastern High School in NE, DC is looking for a few good businesses to place students in there summer intern program. There is no cost to your firm and the impact you can make will last a lifetime. Forward this link to your personnel department to learn more of how you can help.
  • Happy grilling!
  • Josh
